Testimonials. . .

"Paul's teaching has dramatically enhanced my understanding of the Bible and the power of the Kingdom in my life. The power of the Kingdom is amazing! It truly is that ONE thing that a Christian needs to improve every aspect of their life! It also guards against the crisis running rampant in today's church."

--John Jeffries

"This is exactly what I needed! Now I can finally understand my Bible! Thank you, Paul, for your fantastic teaching."

--Ted Edelhoff

"Thank you for lifting me out of sin and into the Kingdom, I never realized the true power of the gospel message until your teaching."

--Mike Hilfer

"People don't tend to disagree with the beauty of this truth with their mind, instead they find it hard to believe in their heart. Why? Because like me, most of us just find it hard to really believe how great is the Liberty of Christ... but once we do believe, how great is that Liberty!"

--Tom Nickels

"Bible Vision-Where There Is No Vision, The People Perish."

--Proverbs 29:18

  • Finding Treasure—The Peace of God

    by admin ~ September 22nd, 2009

Picture 005In the Word of God, the Holy Bible, are hidden all the secret treasures of the universe; and they are just waiting there for us to mine them out.

You see, while our individual examples may, from time to time, be less than perfect, the beauty of the Word is never so. As His Words found therein fall upon our ears it is as though the living God were in our immediate presence, even as though He were speaking to us as directly as if we were walking with Him, side-by-side, some 2000 years ago. There is absolute comfort in the Words and Teachings of our Lord—and I believe we all can find this comfort.

To do so, we need to remember what we really are—are we all but a vapor? Here today, gone tomorrow? As such, we need to always remember the immediacy of the Word—this will help inspire us to live daily in the noble pursuit of this Peace of God, this Peace which transcends human understanding.

Such a wonderful Peace is but a treasure of the heart that is connected with the Holy Spirit, that Spirit of the Living God. And a heart that is connected with the Spirit is one that follows after God. Such a heart knows that whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just; whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; it knows that if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, to think on these things, and then the God of Peace shall be with it.

A quote from one of our recent Daily Scripture Readings is applicable here:

Philippians 4:6-7 – Don’t be anxious over anything whatever; tell God every detail of your needs in earnest and thankful prayer, and the peace of God which transcends human understanding, will keep constant guard over your hearts and minds as they rest in Christ Jesus.

The Apostle Paul also said in Philippians 4:9: “Those things, which you have both learned and received, and heard and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”

Now, we should make note of something else as well, that this is in reality a promise from God! If we pursue Him and do after His ways, we will receive God’s Peace! What can we learn from this? That we are indeed no longer totally depraved as some have said, but instead, we are totally saved. We are, in truth, more precious than any other of God’s creation.
