Early Church Preterism Defined:
A belief that Jesus Christ succeeded in His mission to undo the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8), that He is now King of Kings; and therefore that the end-times prophecies of Scripture were fulfilled in the past -- in the generation of the Christ -- starting at the Cross and being complete in 70 AD at the fall of Jerusalem, the destruction of the Temple, and the end of the Old Testament Polity.
Modern Church Futurism Defined:

We are an independent Bible based church committed to:

(Historically the Church has always been, to one degree or another, preterist in its teaching and application of the gospel -- the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven! Remember our Lord's most common pronouncement back in the first century of His now some 2000 year old Reign: The Kingdom of Heaven IS AT HAND!)
So What?
• That's the bottom line, isn't it? What's in it for you? What's the big deal? Why should you care anyway?
Well, let me ask you this...
1) Are you tired of being told that this earth is still under the curse of sin and death?
2) Are you tired of the big lie? The one where you're told that Christ failed in His mission to undo the works of the Devil and so the whole creation is still groaning under this supposed heavy burden?
3) Are you tired of hearing that even you yourself are a sinner with a desperately wicked heart? That Christ's work wasn't enough to make you 'good'?
Early Church Preterism turns this whole defeatist worldview of the modern church, ultimately negative in this life while still maintaining a positive thread for the Christian in the next, on its head; and returns your faith back to the original pristine focus of the church — Christ's complete and finished victory!
