A Mind Focused On Life Or Death? Discover The Impact Of Easter On Your Life… Or Death!

by admin ~ February 25th, 2010

When you celebrate the holiday weekend commonly called Easter, what is your focus?

Do you focus on the death of Christ?

Or do you focus on His Life?

And what is the impact either way?

Now, you may be thinking to yourself that you think of both. Well, that’s fine, we all do. But that’s not what we’re asking; the question is which is the focus of your thinking!

Now the focus of a Christian should be the Life of Christ! And the death on the cross should be seen only through the light of His eternal life.

In fact, you need to reach the point where you see all things through the Life of Christ.

To help you with this, we are presenting “A Night In The Word” on the topic 7 Bible Truths About Easter Your Pastor Is Afraid To Teach.

In this 2 hour interactive presentation we will be helping you expose the weakness in the death-centered worldview of the modern church and replace it with a life-centered worldview as found in the early church.

Now many of you will understand what I mean when I say “death-centered worldview” of the modern church; others might be struggling with what this means. If you are struggling, just consider this: if your church still believes that you are a sinner, and/or that the world is still under a curse, and/or that Satan is still in control of this world, then you are in a “death-centered” church.

And you need to find LIFE!

Join us on March 27, 2010 to find this life-centered worldview as found in the early church!

I Can Assure You This: You Will Not Find This Information In Your Church!

Pastors Won’t Preach This Truth Anymore!

To join us for this live event held in Highland, Michigan, or via the live broadcast we will be doing of this event over the web, follow the links below and RSVP. Don’t wait! Take Action Now!

From your promotions, you put forth a front that you are a scholar of the early New Testament Church.
Yet from the questions you pose at the bottom of your post, you appear to be a Catholic apologist.
Easter, it’s name, it’s celebrated date, it’s meaningful separation from the Passover leaves it’s meaning half empty.
Sort of like the empty Easter egg that had the center blown out a pin-blow-hole at each end.
It is pretty, but void of any substance.

Your promotion of Sunday over the true Sabbath is telling in itself.
    Did God initiate Sunday worship?
One of the 10 commandments punishable by death now is meaningless?
    Did God change his mind?
Does God have to now follow the dictates of the pontificate?

To me it is no wonder that the Church has a form of godliness but without power – greater works? Where are they?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Dan,

Thanks for the comments. By the way, I am not Catholic, I am, in a most simple statement, a Christian.

And yes, it is true… Sunday is the sabbath–this has been evident to the church from the beginning as it was changed on resurrection Sunday! In this light, we can also confirm that all the beautiful 10 commandments remain in perfect place!

Now I understand that many “Saturday Sabbath” apologists go down the path indicated with your questions, but I always remind such that they need to understand the meaning of Hebrews 7:12 (and its surrounding verses) which tells us “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.” While God did not “change” His mind, He did plan from the time before time to bring all things to pass as He has, including the necessary changes in the Law, especially the Sunday Sabbath!

I will show all this clearly in my upcoming FREE “Evening In The Word.” Please join us (it won’t cost you anything but a little time!); you can attend and then do with the information what you choose…

As for the holiday “commonly called” Easter, during our session I will show specifically how the work of Christ fulfilled the “Passover” perfectly, including the Passover itself, the High Holy Day which is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the Wave Sheaf offering. The season of the Resurrection is full of meaning as we will show, not “devoid” of meaning.

As for the church, its problem lies in lack of solid doctrine, not in “greater works.” I trust you are not suggesting anyone should be showing forth “signs and miracles” as did Christ and the Apostles. That is a recipe for disaster in and of itself!

Again, thanks for the note, and please feel free to join us. We will be broadcasting live over the Web so you can catch it from wherever you are!

    In Christ’s Love,

    Paul

Pastor, with this point we are in agreement, but I also believe. I do believe the reformation did not go far enough to remove the protestant movement, itself from the pagan Pontifex Maximus, which I believe is why the church has a form of godliness, denying the power.

I am not 7th day, as you may expect, but have studied the Catholic tradition and see the influence in the Protestant, her daughter.
The known world was turned upside down by the 12, what is today’s problem? I am suggesting that there is not a vessel today that can hold God’s power as displayed in the early church, due to compromise and pagan mixture in the faith.

    Thanks for the dialog.

    Dan,

Yes, the vessel… it is you! During our “Evening In The Word” part of what we will show is how the completed work of our Lord has made YOU a fit vessel for His power.

For the record I wish to expand my statement about me: I am both not a catholic and not a “protestant.” I am a Christian! As you will see during the session (and which is evident in the footer of my website), I believe one of the problems today is borne of the reformation itself. Not everything about it is bad, just like not everything about catholicism is bad; but I’ll show some of the good and bad as we go.

The one thing I won’t do is focus on the “bad!” There is enough of that in the world today. I will instead provide specific answers that allow the individual, the true vessel of the church, to display the full and complete power of God in their life, the life of their family, and then ultimately out into the world at large.

Christianity has nothing to be ashamed of, Christendom has nothing to hide from. The sabbath day question is easy once understood. The law remaining a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path even with the advent of “Grace” is easy once understood. Understanding “love your enemies” is easy once we understand the difference between public and private enemies as did Christ and His Apostles, as evidenced in the best writings from the best and brightest of the early church fathers.

I do hope you can join us. I think you will find it very interesting, and hopefully you will prayerfully consider whether the Kingdom Fulfilled Theology that we teach is that powerful theology taught by Christ, His Apostles, and the early church, and that such theology is the key to returning power to the vessels of God’s church, people just like you and me.

In the love of that Apocalyptic Prophet Jesus Christ,

    Paul
